Paint Mix Rooms and Hazardous Storage are vital for a painting shop. DRYSYS designs and constructs paint mix rooms of all sizes, to store and decant paints and solvents.

There are many hazards associated with paint mix rooms and hazardous storage. Our engineers carefully design the systems in accordance with Australian standards, legislation and select the appropriate explosion proof rated equipment for the hazardous area classification. 

The supply and exhaust air ventilation forms an integral part of the design and safe operation. Supply air is filtered and temperature control (heating and/or cooling) be can provided. 

The controls of the paint mix room can be incorporated in to the spray booth's PLC operating software;  a stand along touch screen PLC based control; or a push button relay based electrical control panel can be provided. 

All our Paint Mix Rooms and Hazardous Stores are fully tested once built and are approved by the relevant local authority. 

Additional related equipment can also be provided, such as Ventilated Work Benches, Breathing Air and Gun Wash Stations.

 
 

 

DRYSYS provides a variety of paint curing ovens for the Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing, Rail, Transport and other Paint Finishing industries.  All our ovens are designed to suit the customers specific requirements and can be batch, straight through, u-turn, or camel back styled ovens.

DryCure Ovens

DryCure ovens are an innovative energy efficient heating process for curing a variety products, to temperatures of up to 345 degrees C.

DryCure technology offer huge cost saving benefits such as, curing timings reduced by up to 65% and energy costs reduced by up to 75%.  

They are modular designed and factory built for quick installation and handover.  Infrared gas heaters are arranged inside the oven to suit the particular product envelope.  A multi-angled, highly reflective internal skin complements the IR heaters by focusing the heat on to the product.  The IR gas heaters are controlled individually, or in banks (known as zones) to regulate the oven or zone temperatures.  Control of the zones is by a PLC with a touch screen interface optional.

The DryCure technology can also be applied to spot repair stations. 

 

Traditional Ovens

DRYSYS design and construct batch, straight through, camel back, or u-turn styled ovens to suit the client’s product and environmental requirements.

Depending on the product and heating requirements, industrial ovens can be supplied with direct or indirect gas burners or electric element heaters.

Integrated controls are standard for all our ovens. They can comprise of a PLC with touch screen interface, or push button relay based electrical controls.

Other options include radiant walls, for contamination sensitive products, and energy saving Turbulator technology, which reduces curing times and provides a very accurate and stable oven temperature.  

 
 

Corrosion protection is an essential step in the manufacturing of car bodies or many metal products. The majority of corrosion protection coatings require the thorough cleaning of all dirt, oils, and contaminants from the product surface and treating the product surface with phosphate or conversion coatings to prevent corrosion and increase paint adhesion.

Washing and corrosion protection solutions can be developed for any process, product and production rate - utilising the latest technologies.

DRYSYS offers spray / dip pre-treatment and electro-coat systems, including washers, sludge removal, waste water treatment, DI/RO water production and materials handling to ensure that the product is coated to the highest standard.

They control the entire facility with a single touch and ensure it is operating efficiently and productively, by automatically changing various outputs - significantly reducing energy (operating) costs.

The control philosophy can allow for automatic control of the complete facility. The operator control screen interfaces with a PLC to provide automation, graphics, alarms and temperature control.
