Cleanrooms are used in a variety of industries where small dirt particles can detrimentally affect a manufacturing process.

A cleanroom provides a controlled contaminant free environment that encompasses a specific manufacturing process or scientific laboratory.  The air entering a cleanroom from outside along with the recirculated air is filtered to eliminate dust through high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) and/or ultra-low penetration air (ULPA) filters.

DRYSYS design and construct cleanrooms of any size to suit the client's specific requirements and ISO classifications; in accordance with ISO 14644-1 cleanroom standards.

DRYSYS Cleanrooms Feature:

  • Modular construction;
  • Controlled/monitored pressurisation;
  • Condition & controlled air system (filtration, temperature & humidification);
  • Operating software and touch screen interface control systems, or push button relay based electrical controls;
  • Entry & exit vestibules;
  • Wall pass-through modules;
  • Entry/exit air showers;
  • Equipment platforms and support structures;

Many manufacturing processes generate contaminates and hazardous fumes, which can cause health issues or damage to equipment.

DRYSYS provides solutions that are designed to contain and remove contaminates and hazardous fumes.  All containment and fume control solutions are specifically engineered to suit the client's manufacturing requirements, limitations, contaminants and/or fumes produced.

DRYSYS has a long and successful history in delivering contamination & fume control solutions.  Our solutions can include:

  • Process Containment Enclosures
  • Hazardous Area Compliant
  • Controlled & Conditioned Supply Air
  • Extraction Air Systems
  • Filtration
  • Grinding, Sanding & Welding Booths
  • Extraction Benches
  • Down Draft Tables
  • Static Naturalising Control Systems

Hazardous chemicals and dangerous goods are routinely used in workplaces throughout world. The inappropriate storage of these materials can cause significant risks in terms of the potential for harm to people, property and the environment.

DRYSYS develop and implement the best solution for the storage of dangerous goods, that suits your current and future requirements, and is fully compliant with the latest legislation and standards.

Dangerous goods are substances that are explosive, flammable, toxic, combustible, oxidising, toxic, radioactive and corrosive.
Hazardous substances are chemicals that have the potential to cause ill-health. This can be due to the presence of toxins, oxidisers, irritants, radioactivity, sensitising agents, carcinogens, corrosives, or other highly reactive substances in the chemicals or mixtures used.

Air Supply Houses

Air Supply House (ASH), also known as Air Replacement Plant (ARP) is an air treatment and control system.  They treat the incoming air to ensure the air quality is suitable for clean environments such as paint shop processes, various clean rooms and general shop ventilation. They can recirculate the air within the environment or supply up to 100% fresh air - this is dependent on the equipment they are servicing.

Heater Boxes

Heater Boxes are very similar to Air Supply House, however they supply recirculated heated air to various types of ovens that require medium to high air temperatures.

DRYSYS provide heater boxes for new and re-furbished ovens.

Temperature & Humidity Control

Many industries require tightly controlled temperature and humidity conditions.

DRYSYS carry-out the psychrometric calculations for the desired air conditions, then design each Air Supply House or Heater Box to meet the specified requirements.  This can include equipment such as supply fans, primary heating, 1st & 2nd stage filtration, humidification, de-humidification, cooling, re-heat, steam injection and air volume control.

All the equipment is monitored, controlled and adjusted via a PLC, to deliver the desired air conditions 24/7.  More complex control systems can calculate equipment outputs, then adjustment the equipment in a manner that optimisms/reduces operating costs.

DRYSYS Air Supply Houses / Heater Boxes Feature:

  • Operating software and touch screen interface; or push button relay based electrical controls for simple operating applications.
  • Structural Steel Base.
  • Construction - Insulated enclosures
  • Centrifugal Supply Fan.
  • Heating - direct or indirect gas burners, electric elements, boiler & hot water coils.
  • Cooling - evaporative or chilled water & cooling coils.
  • Humidification - staged spray, evaporative and steam.
  • Filtration - 1 or 2 stages.
  • Volume Control - variable speed drives and/or motorised dampers.
  • Maintenance - clear and unrestricted access to all equipment.

DRYSYS design and construct various industrial air supply, treatment and extraction systems, which are central to the efficient, safe and clean operation of many manufacturing facilities.

DRYSYS provided a variety of energy efficient industrial air systems. Each system is specifically designed to suit the client’s requirements.

Integrated controls are standard. The control system adds value by reducing operating costs, fault finding, safety features and reduces down time; while at the same time improving system efficiency and productivity.

DRYSYS' experience and knowledge with Industrial Air Systems includes:

  • Air Blow-off Systems
  • Air Cool/Blow Down Stations
  • Air Knife Systems
  • De-ionising Systems
  • Air Extraction Systems
  • Air Filtering & Treatment
  • Heavy Sanding & Grinding Booths
  • Welding Booths
  • Industrial Ventilation
  • Air balancing and Commissioning

DRYSYS provides DryCure Energy Efficient & traditional Industrial Ovens for the Aerospace, Automotive, Aviation, Defence, Manufacturing, Rail, Transport and Paint Finishing industries.

DryCure Energy Efficient Ovens

DryCure ovens are an innovative energy efficient heating process for curing a variety products, to temperatures of up to 345 degrees C.

DryCure technology offer huge cost saving benefits such as, curing timings reduced by up to 65% and energy costs reduced by up to 75%.

DryCure ovens can be provided as batch or production/continuous styled ovens for:

  • Curing of powder coatings on metal;
  • Curing of wet (solvent or water based) paints on metal;
  • Curing paints on heat sensitive products like plastic and wood (MDF);
  • Curing of composite materials;
  • Thermoforming;
  • Textile treatment;
  • Heat-up zones for conventional (gas) ovens;
  • Retro-fitting of conventional ovens;
  • Spot repair curing of paints;

They are modular designed and factory built for quick installation and handover.  Infrared gas heaters are arranged inside the oven to suit the particular product envelope.  A multi-angled, highly reflective internal skin complements the IR heaters by focusing the heat on to the product.  The IR gas heaters are controlled individually, or in banks (known as zones) to regulate the oven or zone temperatures.  Control of the zones is by a PLC with a touch screen interface optional.

Industrial Ovens

DRYSYS design and construct batch, straight through, camel back, or u-turn styled ovens to suit the client’s product and environmental requirements.

DRYSYS Ovens are provided for:

  • Adhesive Curing
  • Baking
  • Composite materials
  • Dehydrating
  • Dry off
  • Paint Curing (solvent, waterborne & powder)
  • Pre-Heating
  • Sealer Curing

Depending on the product and heating requirements, industrial ovens can be supplied with direct or indirect gas burners or electric element heaters.

Integrated controls are standard for all our ovens. They can comprise of a PLC with touch screen interface, or push button relay based electrical controls.

Other options include radiant walls, for contamination sensitive products, and energy saving Turbulator technology, which reduces curing times and provides a very accurate and stable oven temperature.
